The following is a list of credible college scholarships that Hispanic students can apply for to receive financial aid.
Adelante Fund – If awarded, not only do you receive a scholarship but you get an all-expense paid trip to attend the National Leadership Institute in San Antonio, TX.
Al’s Formal Wear – Two (2) $1000 College Scholarships will be awarded. They shall be made payable to the accredited college, university or other institution of higher learning as designated by the winners, in care of the individual winner, and are intended for use during the current school year.
Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship – The Gilman Scholarship Program aims to diversify the kinds of students who study and intern abroad and the countries and regions where they go by offering awards to U.S. undergraduates who might otherwise not participate due to financial constraints.
Cesar E. Chavez Leadership Conference – Must be a student from a participating conference school to be eligible for a CECLC scholarship. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice. If selected as a recipient, you will receive a $1,000 award.
Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute – CHCI offers scholarships for Latino students to help with education costs. Your scholarship can be used for tuition, housing, textbooks, and other education-related expenses so you can focus on earning your associate, undergraduate, or graduate degree.
Do Something – Take action with DoSomething.org to make social change! By signing up for one of our featured campaigns, you’ll not only be doing good, but you could even win a scholarship — which means money to pay for school.
Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities – The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is pleased to offer scholarship opportunities to assist in defraying some of your college expenditures.
Hispanic Education Endowment Fund – Heef scholarships are regional and based on a combination of low-income family background, academic achievement and involvement in extracurricular activities, community volunteer work, church service or work-employment.
HSF Scholarship Programs – Applications for graduating high school seniors, college undergrads, graduate students and students who are transferring from a community college. Students can also apply for the Gates Millennium Scholars program. If you are Hispanic and looking to apply for financial aid, The programs that the Hispanic Scholarship Fund offers are a no-brainer.
Hispanic Heritage Foundation – Youth Awards honor Latino high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community and for their focus in various categories.
Hispanic Scholarship Consortium – Do you live in Austin, TX? If so, you MUST apply to be int he Hispanic Scholar network. They are connected to some of the highest paying scholarships that Hispanics can apply for. If you don’t live in Austin, send link to a friend who does.
Online Colleges – This sites helps Hispanic students with every aspect of the college search and financial aid process, including the best value Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI), based on cost and academic excellence.
Salute To Education – The San Diego County Salute to Education program is a corporate sponsored scholarship program funded by the San Diego County Ford dealers and Ford Motor Company.
