HSF Scholarship Recipient

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

As a recipient of financial aid from the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, I can vouch for them as a reliable organization.

I was in my graduate studies when I applied for the scholarship. One thing about the scholarship is that you have to be attending college or graduate school as a full time student. In fact many of the scholarships out there ask that you are a full time student. I guess organizations just want to make sure that you are going to apply yourself or they know that it’s hard to work and go to school full-time, who know but that is the case many times.

HSF provided me a $2,500 check in my name for me to attend that semester. They sent me a letter and a stuffed animal from Target. I say Target because they were responsible for sending me the monies. So I am forever grateful to Target and shop there whenever I get a chance. That’s the Hispanic way, we are loyal people, you help me in a time of need and I will be forever grateful.
